Joey "Cowpunk" Navera (of Cowpunk Design) is a concept & industrial designer based in Los Angeles. With Ely Buendia and Raymund Marasigan, he co-designed the layout of the Eraserheads' 1995 album, "Cutterpillow". Joey also created the computer-generatated icons for each song in the album. Also along with rapper FrancisM, he conceptualized the album cover and layout of the former's 1996 album, "Happy Battle". He was also one of the Eraserheads' backline techs (roadies) and driver. During race season, Joey is a motor sports marshal for F1 NASCAR, CART and Indy.

LeVan "schizo" De Guzman, on the other hand, is a big music fan based in Los Angeles. He is also a wanna-be graphic designer, DJ, concert promoter, record label A&R, etc.

The idea of collaborating started when the two went to see The Cure's "Pasadena Daydream" Festival at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on August 31, 2019. After schizo interviewed Cowpunk about the Eraserheads' song "Spoliarium" for schizo's youtube channel, schizo brought up the idea for Cowpunk to re-do & upgrade those "Cutterpillow" icons...and Cowpunk loved the idea! But the idea was just an idea for about 7 months!

Then came the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. Staying home and bored, schizo didn't wanna do TikTok videos like the rest of the world. So schizo called Cowpunk. "Design the shirt and I'll get 'em printed!". So product # 1 is coming out on July 1st, 2020.

Hopefully, more products will come out of this collaboration. We'll see where the economy takes us. Thanks for your support! =)
